If I ever need to be adopted into a new family I know now who's doorstep I'm showing up on. This family was a riot! I asked the Moms how they ever got anything serious done and they both said they didn't... a family of jokers and laughing! Perfect for a sunday afternoon photo shoot and here are the pictures to prove it!

Buddy's Family Shoot

Had a great day on Sunday photographing Buddy and his Mom and sister! I think it's obvious who stole the show.... I mean who could resist that coat and those beautiful eyes? All kidding aside, I had a blast and the humans were so gorgeous it kinda made my job easy. 

Flowers Family Shoot - Floyd Lamb Park

One of the best parts about my job - the part that makes me okay with leaving my kids and husband while I go out to work - is the people I meet. When you meet wonderful people you really can't dislike your job. Three things that made today and this family amazing:
1. I loved the dynamic of grandparents, parents and baby.
2. They let their baby girl, dressed for pictures and cute as can be, play in the dirt. I loved the spirit of it. There was no worry about anything but letting her be herself. They didn't pressure her or get testy during those toddler moments in the session. Instead, they honored her impulses and played with her - really played with child like wonder and happiness. It made me like them a lot.
3. This family loves this baby. I mean, I love my kids and I know all parents love their kids but this family L.O.V.E. this girl. It was so tender and wonderful to see a family that just wants to shower their child with their heart.  Watching her happiness and in turn their happiness touched my heart.

Katie and Mark Family Shoot

Life with Mark is joyful. He's funny, silly, loving and full of energy which makes taking pictures of him easy as pumpkin pie. Wondering how great he is? Look how happy Mom Katie is.. that radiance is what all moms hope to shine out in their pictures!

Wright Family Photos

I was fortunate enough to be asked to do pictures for my cousin Micah and her beautiful, fun, hilarious and loving family visiting from Reno. We didn't get her older daughter to cooperate for the family picture but we got wonderful shots anyway! I think bloody marys should be standard at all family shoots from now on!
