Wear-Allen Family Shoot

Most photographers would worry about shooting this family - 7 people, 3 teenagers, a toddler and a baby - that seems like a lot could go wrong. Not only was there nothing to worry about but we had a BLAST! K&B are great parents and their kids are well behaved, down to earth kids with just the right amount of spark to make sure they're successful in life. It truly was a pleasure... not to mention sooo fun even though we were sweaty!

McCusker Family Session

Although the weather has been frightful this UNLV shoot was fun and these kids were troopers in the heat! I really like when parents allow their kids to just be themselves - silly, playful and spontaneous. I think it really shows through in the shoot makes for better pictures! This family had it all and we were hot but had fun. Enjoy seeing UNLV on a hot day!

Baby Alice

I love love love newborns. and babies. I don't generally do a lot of newborn sessions. It's not easy to wrangle babies and new moms / dads and get "that moment" but every.single.time. I do one I'm in love all over again. This beauty was no different!

The first birthday is the sweetest!

So, there is something so sweet and so cute about a baby's first birthday! I have to admit that I love little birthdays and the celebration that the parents made it through the newborn, infant and most of the baby stages. I especially love this little man. I've gotten to take his pictures a few times over the year and so before I get to his sneak peek lets take a look at how he's grown!

Mojado Wedding!

You might remember Ronni and Varryan from when I did their engagement pictures (adorable!) and recently June and I shot their wedding. I think backyard casual weddings are my favorite but I might be a little biased since that's what the Viking and I did! It was a fun and laughter filled day of amazing people and adorable moments!

Vegas Adventures!

I was contacted by this adorable couple to take pictures of them while they were in Vegas. We had a blast and the Cosmopolitan hotel was a gorgeous backdrop for our mini-session. Enjoy a taste of Vegas!

Miss B Turned 2!

So, a few weeks ago this adorable kidlet turned 2 and I got to take pictures at her party and for her formal shoot! She's not big on strangers and really not big on photoshoots but we seem to have worked it out. I think you'll agree she's the cutest girl around... especially in that tinkerbell outfit!

Ronni & Varryan - Engagement Photos

Ronni and Varryan are getting married in May ("Married? Married!" ~ from 16 Candles plays in my head when I type that word) and it couldn't be a better fit. I like couples that are real and easy going because they're fun to shoot but these two took that to a new level. We had a blast. We seriously laughed all morning. This is a sneak peek of how perfect they are together and how fun their wedding shoot will be!

I've been dying to do pictures at the Smith Center for awhile now and when I talked with Julie about what she wanted to do for her family shoot I knew it would be perfect! The girls were perfect for the setting - silly and fun and spontaneous!

Beautiful Birthday Girl!

Savannah's party and then birthday shoot at Wetlands Park was tons of fun! Savannah is a little bit shy and looking at the camera isn't her gig but I think these pictures show her natural beauty and her inner spirit. When you have a dress like this I don't even think you need to worry about the camera!
